Alaric
and Nilin Wingate
were not from this time, but from the future world of Oasis Landing, Alaric's many times great grandfather who he was named after, helped to found and build this beautiful town from nothing. So for a honeymoon they decided to go to the past and meet his great ancestor. But things did not go as planned, the crazy time traveler they hired to take them,
managed to instead get them stuck in the past. At a time before Alaric great...grandfather even came to the empty town. To make matters worse Emit (the crazy time traveler) went back to the future to get help, but the time pod on this end broke and now won't even activate
so here The are stuck in the past. But at least there is a house,
and 200,000 simolians they had planed to give to great grandfather to help him get started. Ah well looks like they were going to be here for a while. For two sims from the future know nothing about fixing a time portal, that is why they had plumb bots, and the one that they did have only had the cleaning trait chip. A wedding gift from Alaric, but since Nilin was a clean freak the bot spends his days in the pool.
Then they had to deal with this time's primitive technology, even if they could fix the time portal, it was doubtful it would hold out long, if it even worked at all.
While stuck in the past Nilin began her dream to be a great author to pass the time, while Alaric found he was rather found of farming.
The first thing to do in town would be to visit the local food store, a run down building in heavy need of repair. But due to a rude cashier Alaric bought the place just so he could fire them, buying the a joining theater and bookstore as well just incase they tried to get employment there. Alaric could not stand rude sims, and while that left them with only 5,000 after buying the surrounding ponds and fixing them up Alaric felt it was well worth it. And they still had the bot to help Nilin keep the house clean, when they could get it to leave the pool. Good thing plum bots were solar powered as they didn't think to bring a charging station with them.
This was bound to happen
Baby on the way, Nilian's first demand is a school, because no child of her's would go with out an education, and college she wanted her kids to go there too.
Meet Twyla Summers who is under arrest,
she even knows it being so nice as to wait for the police to take her to a jail in the next town.
Maybe they should look into a police station in the future, sure the police made good time but to have to travel so far..

(a trick to have a better chance of an I/F keep babies social low for the first day I handle baby just enough to keep social at half way point until doll comes, after all kids make up there I/F when they are lonely.
